1. Information we collect from you

You can visit this website without revealing any information to us about yourself. However, there are parts of the Sociwind Foundation website where we will need to collect your personal data in order for you to proceed.

Personal information

Whenever we ask you for information that enables us to identify you it will be clear that we are doing so and in every case you will have a choice as to how we use the information that is asked for. Information of this type will only be asked for on those parts of our websites that allow transactions to be performed, in contrast to those parts of our websites that are merely informational in their function. We do not collect any anonymised user information nor do we use cookies on the Sociwind Foundation website.

If you make donations by credit or debit card, your card details will not be stored on Sociwind Foundation servers: – they will be stored by our payment service provider BillDesk on the basis of its own terms of use and privacy policy which can be accessed via their website.

In all other cases, the personal information you provide to us will be held on our computers in the India and may only be accessed by or given to individuals working for the Sociwind Foundation itself.

If Sociwind Foundation and/or one or more of the other Sociwind Foundation entities enters into a joint venture with or is sold to or merged with a third party entity, your information may be disclosed to those who own, control and work for the joint venture or the merged or third party entity.

Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share or distribute any of the information you provide to us and we will not sell your personal information.
